In 2021, I cleared one of India's most competitive banking exams. Over a million candidates sat for it. Roughly 4,000 made the cut. I became an Assistant Branch Manager at Indian Bank, running a branch with a $30M portfolio, 20+ staff, and 1,000+ daily customers. Beyond the numbers, I led financial inclusion programs across 17 villages that reached 8,570+ marginalized families and drove a 40% increase in loans to women entrepreneurs.
But an MBA was always the plan. I'd aced the CAT and other B-school entrance exams back in 2019-20, though life had other plans at the time. When I got married in 2024 and my wife, based in the US, encouraged me to pick up where I'd left off, I didn't hesitate. I'd always believed that breadth compounds. The banking years, the research roles, the analytics. I wasn't switching lanes, rather I was building range.
Now at the University of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business, I'm finishing dual degrees in MBA (Business Analytics) and MS in Supply Chain Management. At Eugia US LLC, I supported demand planning, inventory tracking, and supply chain analytics across a $26M portfolio using Oracle ERP and SQL. At Coherent Corp., I led a cross-functional team as a Pennsylvania Robotics & Technology Fellow, delivering a proof-of-concept that reduced a 12-hour manual process to under 30 minutes.
What drives me: I take ownership, figure out what needs to happen, and make sure it gets done. Whether it's managing a bank branch, analyzing supply chain data, or leading a consulting engagement.
